CHRIS MAYO CORPORATE CHEF
As Corporate Chef, Chris oversees the kitchens of all Osio Culinary Group concepts. He is also Executive Chef at Central Bistro and Kale & Clover. A vital member of the Osio Culinary Group, Chris is in charge of everything from development to day-to-day execution of the menus. When it comes to cooking, his guiding principle is simplicity, believing it is better to have three or four perfectly done elements on a plate than an ornate dish that muddles the ingredients’ flavor. Born in Boston and raised in Phoenix, Chris has worked in some of the world’s finest restaurants including Daniel, Savoy and Jean-Georges. Chris attended the French Culinary Institute in New York City.
VINCENT CONTRERAS EXECUTIVE CHEF
As Executive Chef at Local Bistro, Vincent Contreras is in charge of daily kitchen operations as well as and helping design new seasonal menus. While Vincent’s love for food began in his grandmother’s kitchen, it wasn’t until he worked for Chef Christopher Gross in 1994 and began to see the creative potential of food that he decided to devote his life to the culinary arts. Following that experience, he enrolled in the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and began his career as a chef. Since then, Vincent has collaborated with world-renowned chefs including Luciano Peligrini and Joachim Spichal, both James Beard Winners, as well as Alex Stratta, also a James Beard Winner as well as the recipient of two Michelin Stars. Most recently, he worked at Pinot Brasserie at The Venetian Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
DAVE KEYSER GENERAL MANAGER
For David Keyser, hospitality is what makes a successful restaurant. Regardless of the price point, theme, or location, Dave believes guests should be provided an outstanding experience. Dave’s career began checking IDs at the door of a resort south of Atlantic City. He later became a bartender and worked every job in the kitchen and the front of the house to learn the ins and outs of the restaurant business. Since moving to Arizona 21 years ago, he has managed a number of restaurants, including Kona Grill and Rock Bottom. His wife is also in the restaurant industry; they enjoy comparing notes and navigating restaurant life together. “I truly enjoy building relationships with clients and seeing them regularly,” Dave says. “Knowing that we have provided them with a great experience is very rewarding.”
